I was going to post something along similar lines as I came to the end of this thread. It is disappointing that the generally insightful community seems to lose their senses and agree with the first opinion voiced sometimes. I see no hissy fit, I see no huge loss (one time charges on a negative profit notwithstanding), and I see more new opportunity than is missed with not going to this show in Boston. I may have missed a comment here, but I'm not that familiar with this subject. Apple uses multiprocessor schemes in all of its pro desktops now - I know that it's mainly to make up for other speed deficiencies - but is it possible (probable) that we will see dual processor versions of desktops with this chip as well?
