Besides the obvious concerns of driver attention, do we really need to be able to browse websites in our car? I got a dvd player in my car with a screen in the front, I NEVER use it. I can manage the 5 mins between blockbuster and my house. What then? I doubt it will make your life any better. Last time i checked cars were for transportation
So if they did approve CBDTPA, what would happen, would piracy stop, NO. Pirates are fairly resourceful people as such there would probably be a huge run on hardware without any restrictions and probably a blackmarket of hardware without protection.
Hmmm, I wonder if a webmaster of a slashdotted website ever thought of sueing/. because it constituted a DDoS attack (although the good faith thing might be a problem for them).
Have you guys ever considered using NMAP to do a random sample search of ips that belong to.coms.nets etc, and thus determine their OS with NMAP or some other tool? or would it take too long and/or be legaly risky (as there are certain legal opinions that say NMAP is).
I believe this experiment was already completed except using airplanes that had atomic clocks in them and it did prove the theory.
