It is interesting to know the numbers of Air Travel pollution. However, isn't more effective to focus on the other 97.5% of CO2 emissions? Like burning oil to generate electricity?
As a foreigner living in Brazil, I totally agree with you in " it is a matter of national pride to find a way around the rules" part Once I heard a really nice talk to security experts, saying that's a competitive advantage of Brazil to being that way: if a system works fine here, it'll will work fine anywere.
