Scrounging has to be one of my favorite hobbies. One of best places in the New England area is the MIT Flea Market in Cambridge, MA. It's held the third Sunday of every month from May Throught October. What started as a ham-radio event has blossomed into a great place to find just about anything technology-wise. Just picked up a nice SparcServer 20 dual-processor system with all the trimmings for $200. Since Solaris 8 is downloadable and free it's giving me a break from loadinq BSD and Linux on everything in site.
We're not talking about Survivor dope, it's Junk Yard Wars. It's one of the few shows on TV that has something to do with using your brain. Maybe you should watch it before commenting, or running for Congress. By the way, the country is going to hell because of pseudo-intellects who dabble in politics like others dabble in watercolors.
They deserve any recognition they get, one of the best shows on TV. That's not saying much since most of the stuff on is brainless drivel, which some of the lame posters probably like.
Is everyone that blind that they don't see the forest through the genetically-altered trees? Sure the DNA changes made to the corn seem to make the corn more resistant to some pests but what about the trickle down effect? Pollen from genetically modified plants will be mingled with other plants and we have absolutely no idea how this will affect the balance of nature. Yeah, we're just setting ourselves up for a cheap Sci-Fi-like ending to the planet. Push the button Frank...
After reading the review and then some of the comments it sounds to me like everyone is saying "If I close my eyes and put my hands over my ears it's almost good." This series is a typical corporate product from a group of like-minded idiots that believe that if you glue together some special effects with pretty people you don't need to have a good plot. This show is pure crap.
How about "Well I want to build a car but rather than using 4 wheels that someone else invented, I think I'll start from scratch." One of the ideas behind the Open Source movement is that one can build on others work and by doing this the end product as a whole is better. What is the impetus for making the changes if not profit? Ballmer is a boob. He is quickly becoming the Dan Quale of the IT industry. Does he really believe what he sayes or is he being brainwashed by his marketing department? They "help customers understand when they are crossing the line". Gee...thanks Microsoft! You're swell:)

A "product line" implies products of a similar nature, like different models of a desktop. These two items couldn't be more different.
It's not an iPAQ. It's an iPAQ Pocket PC, as opposed to an iPAQ Desktop which my company purchases. Couldn't they afford another name?

With NASA's latest track record those names will indeed arrive on Mars...splattered all over the surface.

Has everyone forgotten about "Transwarp Drive"?
