Well, I may be wrong (and I probably am), but isn't this: 22/186 = 0.120.12 x 2 (round trip) = 0.24 It seems you may have counted the roundtrip twice. But, hey, we all make mistakes...
In 10 years when you have an hour's notice of a hurricane coming your way, you might want to thank this guy for saving you and your families arses. Well, currently, we generally notice hurricanes when they are hundreds of miles off shore, and people always have more than enough time to evacuate...
