If you can't follow the (very simple) instructions for installing and configuring Apache and PHP on Windows, there's no way you should be allowed in the same room as a web server, let alone administrating one.
How difficult would it be to have an ISO with an up-to-date portage tree inc sources (put together daily?) so that people without an awesome inet connection can grab and burn a copy somewhere else to take home?
The majority of people do not have broadband access, you are eliminating a massive pool of users by not considering their needs.
I find the approach of gobeProductve 3 much more refreshing, that rather than having several apps bundled together (like office/imitations) you rather have all the apps working seemlessly together using worksheets.
When you work on having them distinct, a lot of common functionality has to be repeated. It's just a waste, and promotes the bloat that you so scorn. Making apps completely separate as you advocate makes this even worse.
What do you get out of pretending to be somebody else? "Actually, I..." Are you one of these peopel who regularly pretends to be others just to convince himself he's not a sad loser?
Try laying down your life for the good of humanity and then looking down from wherever you may be and watching your sacrifice twisted into a pathetic lie.

You missed the point?

*cough cough* Bollocks...
It takes major balls to stand up in front of several hundred people and say it.
To type it, reread it, correct it, then post it on a public website is a lot less brave and a helluva lot easier to do.
But it is romantic to declare it with so many people reading.
Why did it get posted anonymously? I'm logged in... "Post Anonymously" was unchecked. :|

Hah, like an advert is informative. They are *selling* the product, not describing it.
