If OJ were convicted in a Brentwood-Area courtroom instead of Downtown Los Angeles, hed be better off being judged by his peers. Then OJ would be in jail. Putting him downtown with a jury of poor black people is a surefire way of making sure that he wont be convicted. OJ's lawyers made it a race issue, and they found him innocent. That trial should never of had been on TV. What a fucking mess. My kids will ask: What do you remember about the OJ trial? What can i tell them?

the US govermentment needs to have limits on lobbying so that shit like the DMCA can be out of the books. clear channel radio networks needs to be broken up as well. they control the majority of radio stations in the country. they decide what goes on the radio, and its all corporate pop rock. land of the free and home of the brave? my ass. land of whoever can pay for it.

All sensitive Data is to be stored on a computer not connected to any kind of network. The files must be encrypted several times and make sure that the disk is secured.
This is only a reason for more people to use linux. I bet microsoft, symantec, and zone labs are all in bed with the government about allowing backdoors into NAV, ZoneAlarm, and Windows XP.

I have XP Pro and 2K Pro on my computer. p3 450, 384 megs of PC 133 ram, XP on my 8 gig fujitisu ata 66 5400 (i think) rpm hd, and 2000 on my 20 gig ata 100 hd. Graphics card is a NVidia GeForce2MX. Mobo is an intel sx440bx.
Bottom line: With all the fancy graphics and blending and other UI "enhancements", Windows XP is slower than 2000. When i take all the UI enhancements off XP and get it similar to 2000, XP is at least as fast, if not faster thatn 2000. Come on, Microsoft has had from feb 2000 to August 2001 to speed up the code!
I like the addidional drivers, things just work. I dont like the rampant ads for.net and windows media player. Netscape 6.2 is blazing fast!
Activation: It sucks. find a way to negate it.
I needed a new driver for my creative soundblaster soundcard. out now. Most things will have good drivers. I just wish Windows XP could be slimmed down to get rid of the fluff.
