Hey, Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Outlook are both quality programs (they're both incredibly resource intensive, but we all have 1.5 GHz systems anyway). I wouldn't mind if someone cloned them for Linux.
I went to space camp at the NASA museum in Alabama 5 years ago. I'm nearly positive that I was told that NASA sold extra space on the shuttles for private research and such. I should even have a rate sheet around here somewhere... if I find it I'll post it later today.
The very point of a free network is that it is free! Yes, people do give away bandwidth. I do myself.
My setup is my DSL modem is connected a linux firewall/router. I then connect my hub for my wired LAN to the router, and the access point. That way, I maintain security on my LAN, and provide free 'net acess to neighbors and people driving down the street. If I need to, I can even limit the bandwidth to the access point.
Where do these displays exist? I want a little display that will support at least 640x480 resolution (and color) but I'm having trouble finding one for under $3000.

I don't blame Unix users who laugh at Mac fanatics who are just now uncovering the power of Unix.

Right now, I'm working on setting up a free, unified wireless network in the Chicago area. Let me know if you want to help out!
Those are a cool concept... but they're incredibly expesive ($1500-$3500) and low resolution (I just want 640x480, but they don't come close)
