  1. This is a neat discorvery! on Dungeons and .. Spiders · · Score: 1

Its a wonderful age we live in where we can still find the most unique lifeforms in the places we would not think they would be at. I mean, who would of thought that archaebacteria which was found in the harshest cliements first such as geysers and menthane deposits could be found all around us. Finding a new type of spider in a castle makes it even more exciting to me, espeacly because it has a capability that only six other spiders found have the. Which is the ability to kill humans with there venom. I wonder if some type of medicine could be found after analyzing the venom. That would be realy intersting!

Think, what do you do with your high speed internet access. For the most part its do things of questinable legal intent. Although it would be good for a nation so it could download large things like game demos, and of course *nix isos :-) I say if it takes the goverment to ensure every man, women, child, and pet has the ability to access high speeds to get a good OS then so be it!

I think the fungus is revolting, first it will be aluminin based data storage, then they will go after larger prey like casino and video game tokens. Remember one fungus can be as small as a spore or bigger then your back yard. And they just won't take being dissenfected anymore. I just know that I'm going to be on the fungises if it comes to war.

  8. The More Alternatives the better, right? on MP3Pro Released · · Score: 1

Its seems to me that the more options you have to choose, the better your chances of finding the ones you like. So far there is very few encoders that can make files sound cd quality at 64kb/s. Even less so when its limited for the time bieng when its limited to certain OS's. But if something is worth it, even to one person, it will spread and be able to be used by all that would like to. Also its by these latest ways to compress files that we get the most inspiration to create new and better ways. Even if its nothing more then a hack of a standard encoder.

  9. Simple Question for black hole intersted readers. on A Recipe For Black Holes · · Score: 1

As long as massisive black holes are on the table, I was wondering about the other end of the scale.
A long time ago I picked up a book that listed among some theoritical objects in space, the object that stood out in my mind was the idea of a miniture black hole. This would be a black hole that lost a majority all its mass do to energy given out by spin or some other force and flying through space, it would have nothing gobble up to help increase its size. It listed some intersting properties if I remember correctly, like the ability to fly through matter supposidly without effecting it. Its been a very long time since I read about them and I was wondering if anybody intersted in black holes has heard anything about them.
    Thanks!
