OI, another round of this. Global warming isn't just about what areas are getting warmer. It effects the amount of overall change in the temperature of the atmosphere and the amount of radical change in weather patterns.
Now, on the other hand we don't have enough historical data to form an adquate mapping of weather patterns.
Bush had better not put that coal burner on the border with BC, as that area funnels back down the coast.
We tend to forget that Science is about measures, ie How do things work based on what our current knowledge is.
Unfortunetly, we forget this and end up treating this like an absolute Law. China once closed it self off from the world, when it sent out explorers and found no other civilization to match its self. Several centuries latter the gunboats came.
Just remember the Manhattan Project was military war project to design a weapon of mass destruction. This tends to get priority over any domestic research.
As to safety concerns, every new invention has a hidden drawback and sometimes has lethal consquence. Poor Madam Currie.
On the other hand is there any prohibtion against anonymous free speech.
I would assume that the courts have found this to a liberty (A subject not to be prohibted under most circustances, but not entrenched in Law.) as opposed to an article of Law.
Sigh, artillery isn't so simple as getting coordinates and simple firing away. Artillery pieces aren't direct fire so they lob there ordance towards the target.
The loaders (For artillery guns.) require charge loads then shells, so its not all that great to zap snipers with.
On the other hand the use of counter snipers being fed this information, and using some of the heavy sniping rifles can be far more impressive and timely.
By the way, most snipers shoot to wound as opposed to kill. Its far better to leave an incapacitated screaming man behind to drop your opponents morale and force several of his friends to make a decision as to either go get him or leave him behind. Killing an opponent tends to make soldiers mad, and with automatic weapons things get interesting.
Another point to be made in this whole issue, there other means to cause the apparent curvatures that are being dicused. For instance light can be bent by extreme EMI, which can be produced by many stellar objects.( Ie Stars.)
Subatomic particles do not exhibt any gravitonic responses. Since, light has subatomic mass the effect of gravity shouldn't have much of an impact.
Another possibility is of subatomic collisions, this can produce a combitination of transformations and redirections. All of this would logically occur closer to large stellar masses.
Actually, theres a case with bioengineered plants in Canada right now. Canolla plants that are highly resistant to chemicals are starting to infest other farm lands farm from the testing area. Real hard to get rid of as well.
Science is Grand, Nay?

Boy guys check again. Its meters per sec not hours.
2m/s *3600s=7200m/h
7200m/h / 1000=7.2Km/h
1.0 Km = roughly 0.6 Mph
so 7.2 Km/h * 0.6= 4.32 mph roughly.
Ok, thats not quite what happened.
The reason for targeting the power stations was due to the fact the military and civilians shared the same system, thereby became military targets.
Planes were too expensive for the Serbs to use, instead they used artillery and small arms.Worked like a charm as the advanced technology had a hard time finding them.
But, yes stealth aircraft became causlities to a supposedly inferior opponent. Just like Vietnam and Korea.
There is already a far better technology for depriving stealth technology of its cover. The one thing that can't be stealthed is the flow of air over the surface of an airplane in flight.
This has two noticeable effects, first it creates a wake effect. Second the shape of an aircraft creates a shape to match that of the aircraft itself.
Now lets take our a look at our friendly little doppler radar, which we use to track weather systems. It uses its technology to detected air flow in relation to objects moving through the air. Now if we upgrade the pattern recognition and add Millimeteric imaging then we can get a fairly reliable tracking system for both conventitional and stealth aircraft.
Besides two shepperds in New Zealand managed to detect an American stealth aircraft with there cheap doppler rig that the purchased for entertainment purposes.
Don't forget NAPs not upgrading the trunk lines.

Uhhm, you might be more bananas then you think. Its the arrangement that has a bit more weight then the quantities.
