    P.S. If you want to learn about why we're sure heavy atoms come from exploded stars, go read about the element Technetium.

    Actually, I think the Bloq are probably the best of the bunch.

    I think you should be aware that the Bloc says that the "3 copyright infringement claims and you're off the internet" is too lenient, they think 2 complaints should be enough to have someone cut off. They think that schools shouldn't get a rebate when using copyrighted work for educational purposes, and they think that money should be taken from all sales of devices capable of storing music and given to the industry.

    The bloc's position on copyright is: Whatever the industry want, we give.

    That's the thing: the plant keeps leaking hydrogen and exploding here and there, the grid is down, there's still aftershocks happening, the plant has been leaking radioactive material already and if things keep going wrong, once the rods start melting what's to say the container won't crack and spray out the molten fuel?

    I mean: I hope the worse is behind them, but it just seems like things are failing one after the other, and I don't share this optimism of yours about the safeguards needed to prevent the worse case scenarios.

    You want scholars? You're ignorant of the writings of Blaise fucking Pascal, you authority-seeking bitch:

    Homer composes a romance, which he gives out as such, and which is received as such; for nobody doubted that Troy and Agamemnon no more existed than did the golden apple. Accordingly he did not think of making a history, but solely a book to amuse;

    That depends on whether you evaluate it as an adaptation of the comic or on its own merits, of course. Having not read the comic (and having no desire to, for that matter), I evaluated the movie simply as a movie, and in that regard I thought it was excellent.

    In the book the Big Plot at the end was about a million times more over-the-top and super-villainy. It focused humanity's fears towards an alien menace, whereas in the movie it focuses the anger towards the superhero. Also the giant green cunt balanced out the giant blue dick.

    I prefer the book's craziness, but I can see why they shied away from it.
