Moderators are fuckwits. I posted this before all you other fucks, so don't mod me redundant, bitch. Check the FAQ fuckwits. Yet another reason why I won't pay for slashdot.
You can't find anything good in Slashdot (instead, you provide a rather comprehensive catalog of its faults), but hey, it's free, so you'll condescend to stick around. Wrong. He can find things of enough value to stick around so long as the ads are not too intrusive. He cannot find good enough content to justify looking at large, crappy ads, or paying $5 per month.
I mean, the MPAA/RIAA are saying that most people are/will steal music (if the number was negligible they wouldnt bother to pursue this..) That is what I meant - the MPAA overinflates shit:) However, I agree with you that most people will not care at all that thier new DVD player is crippled to hell
That's the really sad part about all of this, and why the RIAA and MPAA will "win", even if we can bypass the security, the vast majority of people simply don't care.
Is that the same vast majority who are stealing the MPAA and RIAA's prized possessions? I would have thought all those pirates would have cared at least somewhat.
Actually, I would chalk it to human error - Their error, not mine. I had my girlfriend check the card before I sent it in and I definately chose not to recieve their garble! =D
Must be something to do with the new Windows NE that came out.
In the end, Microsoft persuaded the Parliament to continue using Windows NE for 5,000 new PCs.
I figure it must be for PDA Servers then or something !

Who registered it first?
You said exactly what I was thinking! Always with the "everyone has their own tld! we get to use .com!" shit.....
Just one would do fine, thank you
I definately agree on that one. Anybody reading the GPL could reasonably infer said offer!
did you actually check the source in the gnucleus1 directory or are you speculating on it's contents?
I have the slightest feeling they left the gnucleus1 folder named the same and edited the source. Don't quote me tho.
And I declare shenanigans on this story!
Or not... if you check and see you CAN download the source...
Sounds like someone was a lil pre-emptive and forgot to check that you can download the source.
Correct. Perhaps they offer it for download (havent checked I am too lazeeeee :))

Have a nice day.
You are out of Slashdot Credits! Please insert $5.00 to continue!
Did that actually work for you? I can't get the cache to work.. it loads the header of the page them locks......
Bzzzzt. Wrong! You are protected for fraudulent use of your credit card details! See visa.com (visa also covers you for 100%, you wont even owe $50.)
Does anyone have a mirror of the site?
Google seems to lock when I view the cache........
Call me a liar, but I agree with you. I am dead sure I was using AOL shoesgroups with thier crappy AOL shoesgroup client.

Telepathy of course!
:)
Seriously though, that is why it pays to provide a list of each email you want removed with your complaint

What, you mean like the APC mailings I get even though I specifically checked the "NO, Do NOT send me mailings!" box? Sounds non-legit to me.
How about the opt-in email I recieve from APC which I SPECIFICALLY checked the NO box on when I submitted my customer satisfaction survey?
How about the offensive reply I recieved when I asked the be removed from their "opt-in" list which I most definately did not "opt-in" to.
