I havent used Xbox Live yet but I have been using Xbox connect wich is a tunnel system between your pc and your xbox. Halo online was cool other then the fact that I played anymore then one other person the Xbox would lag out. All this over my 2.3mb cable. I will probably not get xbox live due to ps2's online games are user based servers and are free to play. THPS4 for the ps2 is a great example in my mind how the online functonality of the xbox should be like.
Its defenitly not a "well its microsoft so I am not going to endorse it" type of a situation. I run Linux, mac, and Windows. So anyways in conclusion and in my opinion, XBOX Sucks online.
