    The weather thing seems to me to just be an advert to the world that there is a new giant abacus. The comments about other stakeholder interests like weapons development, nuclear physics and biochemistry research taking a lower priority has a cautionary tone for cloud-watchers. More noteworthy than whether Kasparov's great grandchildren will need sunblock, is whether the mutants who survive the nuclear blast of the Bush-o-tron 3000 will have 2 or 3 finger mittens.

    Like Starship Troopers, you make an interesting comment about propaganda and disinformation, and their pervasiveness. Telling the 'enemy' that we can hear everything they say is probably more effective than actually listening to it all.

    Equally eligible is the remainder of the text : "Somebody set up us the bomb." , or "You have no chance to survive make your time. ", or "You are on the way to destruction. ", or even "How are you gentlemen", but I don't think "HA HA HA HA" will translate well into Nukemese.

    We can never have enuff squares, but perhaps if we encouraged some depth in people we could be cubes! The Borg would be onside. But aren't they one of the four riders of the Apocalypse anyway?
