I can't even begin to see where this guy links this plot to GTA. I pretty sure GTA never inspired a carjacking. Could it maybe be that carjackings inspired GTA?
Also, I'm not a fan of anime and I don't know much about it, but I've seen random acts of violence in some of those movies. Is anime exempt from the violent media theory? Not only that, but this kid is now an artist because of it?
The part that strikes me as particularly funny is the amount of work I had to go through just to play video on my brand new PowerBook. After several days of effort I settled on none other than.. wait for it... MPlayer.
And the best part about it is the GUI. It's a box with play, pause, stop, ff, rw, and fullscreen. Wish I could have that on linux without writing it myself.
...and the wireless keyboard that they make, also. If found that it was quick and easy to get used to to, and the fact that there is no line-of-sight limitations (radio, 80Hz or something, but don't quote me cuz I'm too lazy to look up the spec) is great. The best part is that if you put it down on a surface, its optical sensor is enabled and it works just like any optical mouse. It's also kinda cool in flight sims:) The battery is is a rechargable NiMH, and they say it lasts for 12 hours of continous use, but I have yet to reach that point so I can't confirm. Both the keyboard and mouse are lightweight, and the keyboard is basically a laptop keyboard with a radio in it, but I personally like small keyboards... All in all, I think the thing is cool and usefull, and you can find the combo for about $80 at a few places online.
The only *REALLY* bad part of the movie

True, Delphi does not support multiple inheritance, but it does support interfaces, which I happen to think are better anyway:) But there is (supposedly) C++ Builder that should appear on Linux soon enough. If it includes the GUI builder I can't wait to try it. And JBuilder is the best Java IDE out there, but I just can't seem to like Java very much...
How does everyone feel about Delphi? I personally have taken a liking to it. Object Pascal is a pretty and mature OO language. It's obviously short on some C++ features such as operator overloading, but in combination with Delphi's GUI designer and it's portability (kylix!), I think it's an excellent business tool. I've always been a fan of Borland stuff though, maybe I'm biased... What do you think?

Some of those "conspiracy theories" could use a good explanation...

"911, please hold..."
That's a goodie...
Obviously, a GPS watch would have prevented the columbine incident. That would instantly solve the problem.
Maybe a the parents could have taken their kids' guns away instead of their privacy.
So why are we dropping bombs all over the middle east? After all, those countries aren't waging wars, only their citizens.
Tell your kid not to take the damn watch off. Lock it onto your 15 year old and watch him learn to jam GPS...
