As mentioned in the second page of the interview there is a seperate mobile-ip6 stack being worked on. Seems the memory usage issues are being addressed for devices where it is an issue.
I didn't say their keyring format or their really friggin old version of Apache was good. Only that the GUI tool for key management was much better than screwing around with openssl CLI calls for key managment. Being able to click [Generate a CSR] button and fill in a form, click the [Export CSR to ASCII armored format] menu item and then use the [Import signed CSR to keyring] option is preferable to issuing the equivalent openssl commands.
I'm advocating the authoring a a nice X11 GUI client for keyring management, nothing more.
I've compiled, installed and configured 3 customer sites with mod_ssl so far.
No problems with compilation, interaction with mod_php or mod_perl, CSR generation, getting the CSR signed through Verisign or final implementation of the SSL key and keyring.
The only thing missing is a nice keyring management X11 GUI like IBM includes with their IBMHTTPD package *drool*. The OpenSSL CLI key management interface requires memorizing yet another set of commands and flags. It works, but is annoying.
Well, this RHCE is now quite frustrated. Looks like the Kickstart images I made are going to have to be modified to remove the gcc 2.96 packages and install 2.95.2.

Motorola hires hundreds if not thousands of interns in almost every department. On my last contract at Motorola over the summer of 1999 we had 8 interns for the IT department alone, the software developers had several dozen more.
Granted these postions concentrated in the Chicago IL, USA area but how enthused are you? -Rusty
On a public posting system I run we must police content regularly. Our users have a penchant for posting song lyrics in full, for example.
Make a best effort along with a public notice that content is policed and you should be in good shape. Avoid fighting the battles and comply with requests to have content removed. It may not be a popular stance but it CYA. -Rusty
I too am a RHCE. I agree, the review was fairly accurate. The most important thing IMHO is to go to Raleigh, NC. It's worth the trip to have one of the education department senior people teach your class.
I used Discount Domain Registry, an OpenSRS affiliate, and had my domain transfered away from NSI in about 2 business days. It was simple and painless and now I'm saving money as well as being able to manage my domain without annoying emailed templates. -Rusty
I reported this story to Slashdot over 6 months ago. I was on a high profile team at IBM and the project leaders for this porting effort asked us if anyone wished to join the development team for porting Linux to S/390. It's no bull people, IBM is adopting Linux in a corporate sweeping manner.
Your employer can't argue with the professionalism of the names used by the automotive industry. There are hundreds if not thousands of names to choose from and you can infer use or power of a host based on the type. ie:
civic - SparcStation LX running NetBSD (Small boxs that runs forever) hummer - beefed up Alpha running Linux for user shells

If you go through the Sun Store and select the
light model and then add 128M in the options
section it only costs $225 more.

You need to change a single variable declaration in one function and re-make. This is difficult to abuse and simple to correct.
Refer to the article for the patch/change.

When they released 6.0 and broke so many things.

There are other companies doing exactly this.
One example is Raydium
I'm sure there are others as well.

What is your take on the quashing of the use of photuris, for IPSEC keyserver use over the open to attack isakmp, by the IETF?
