May be slightly offtopic, but, some of you might find the online work of artist John Simon interesting at www.numeral.com.
He came to a "Digital Worlds" art class I took last semester and talked about his piece titled "every icon." (He has set up a computer program that is currently in the process of creating every possible combination of a b/w 32x32p icon...which will take several hundred trillion years to complete. You can view the program at the numeral.com website.)
we talked about the nature of patents, copyrights, and ownership, because, theoretically, at some point his program is going to replicate icons deigned by Microsoft, Adobe, and, well, every icon ever designed by anyone. and yes, he does have individual copies of this work for sale so, theoretically, he'd be making money to sell these images designed by other poeple. check it out.
The clone wars? What does CK1 and Coolwater have to do with star wars?
