          Freeway much? As if he was the only one. Anyway that's what lane discipline is about, you know, the innermost lane is for passing only - oh wait yeah, in the US you all drive at whatever speed you want ignoring your fellow drivers. I guess you deserve to be rear-ended.

          That's not the point. The taxes are in place (presumably) to protect domestic industry from "foreign competition". Although sometimes like in this case, the specific product isn't available in your country.

          I have very little data on you, yet I predict you will be dead within 100 years. Just because a particular branch of science is not yet completely understood doesn't mean you can extrapolate from that to generalize that scientists in general can't predict nature.

          In fact, we're so good at predicting nature that now you expect it from us as a norm.

    Printing money doesn't necessarily cause inflation. Allowing that printed money to rapidly expand the money supply does. But there are many other ways to expand the money supply without actually printing money. Just like there are ways to reduce it without "burning" money.
