  3. Assholes like you attack me because the truth about our entire species is too bitter a pill for you to swallow. At least be honest with yourself: you're a caveman as much as the rest of us are and we NEED TO EVOLVE, AS A SPECIES. Probably won't happen though it would require everyone to get out of their comfort zone and actually TRY to be better.

  4. So are you agreeing with me and expressing your displeasure at those who attack me, or are you saying that racism, sexism, bigotry, willful ignorance, superstition, et al, are all perfectly okay? You can be one or the other not both, which is it?

DeVos is promoting so-called 'charter schools' and funneling money away from public schools with 'vouchers' that will benefit the rich more than anyone else, and the poor will be left with shitty underfunded schools if they have any school at all -- and minorities will be hurt the worst since the vouchers won't cover tuition at a charter school by itself. This alone will destroy the public school system. DeVos is not even qualified to be Secretary of Education, she has NO credentials, Trump had NO business appointing her in the first place.

Oh, no worries, there'll be education -- for The Rich, white, Christian kids. If your kids aren't all of those, not so much, then, they'll be lucky to be literate at all by the time they graduate from highschool, and forget about college. You can thank Betsy deVos for all that, and Trump for appointing the evil bitch.

  13. tendency to violence, racism, sexism, bigotry, wilful ignorance, superstitious nonsense

That might be true.. if I had anything to do with 'outrage(d) fueled media', which I don't. It's my observation of the human species, formulated over all the decades of my life. That's okay, I don't expect most people to be honest enough with themselves to admit what I'm saying is true, the truth hurts too much for most people, and to be quite honest it hurts me deeply because I know I'm fundamentally no better, even if I try to be. Admitting I'm right is admitting you're just a caveman with high-tech toys; I get it, it's too hard for most people to admit to anyone else, and that's okay. At least be honest with yourself in the privacy of your own mind, though, you might just be a little better person on the outside because of it.

  14. I really wish I'd live long enough to see our species evolve past all the tendency to violence, racism, sexism, bigotry, wilful ignorance, superstitious nonsense, and all the other stupid crap that we, as a species, seem to be infected with, but as-is I'm not even so sure the human species will manage to survive to see the year 2100, when even the greatest minds among us aren't immune to all the above.

  17. Fuck off. Corporations and governments should BY DEFAULT respect people's privacy. 'Monetizing' people's personal informtation, after having them click on a EULA or site agreement that deliberately obfuscates what it is they're 'collecting' from you and why, is bullshit. Sifting people's private email messages is bullshit. Databases of what people buy and where they buy it is bullshit. Selling people devices that intentionally watch and listen in on what happens in people's homes or around their persons is bullshit. It's only lazy pieces of shit like you who accept being abused in this manner who, through your complacency, apathy, and cowardice, allow these practices to continue. People need to be less shitty, less lazy, and more courageous, and stand up for the basic human right of privacy. We are not convicts in prison, we are not 2 year old children, we are not animals on a farm or in a zoo, we are not property, we are citizens of an ostensibly free country and bullshit like this should not, under LAW, be allowed, ever. Any other answer just reveals you to be part of the problem, perpetuating it through your own complacency, apathy, and cowardice. Prove me wrong, if you can; pro-tip, you can't, it's the 800 pound gorilla in the room, it's the Uncomfortable Truth, it's the thing people don't want to admit about themselves: they're lazy, and they've allowed themselves to be conquered, to have their power taken from them, for the illusions of things like 'security' and 'convenience'.

I will NEVER change my mind about this, and neither you nor any other lazy cowards like you will change my mind, EVER. YOU need to change, not me, YOU need to fight this bullshit.
