I use standard ways of working on things, the whole thing is able to evolve or be modified for your convienience.
Plus you can choose what theme or skin to use the system in.

Samizdat is a peer to peer network grid which uses military grade crypto with a layer of steganography on top to maintain the illusion of unencrypted Spam being sent.
This makes it undetectable to the censor and uses any random port which isn't blocked.

The new parts in Kaos are basically rewritten BSD, I'm changing the kernel to an exokernel and making a simpler GUI with a better interface.
I want to make it faster, more stable and more scalable than OS X.
The only professional help I've had was from Jef Raskin. But his ideas on an all text interface, getting rid of submenu mapping and no themes or skins were just irritating.
However, I'm glad I emailed him before I wasted my money on his book.
I see no reason why I should discuss improving unix, just because it's BSD, not Linux doesn't mean it's offtopic or pointless.
Incidently,I'm planning to make this OS the best system you can get, I'm even prepared to use some gnu parts where it's worthwhile.

Why bother modifying Freenet? I'm doing an encrypted grid protocol called Samizdat that will have more than Peek-a-Booty ever will.

iTunes is nowhere near as good as SoundJam MP was. I can't get iTunes 2.03 to work on OS X.1.2 and am using iTunes 1.1.1 now.
