    Why we are now measuring thing in units we never use, bits, is pretty beyond me.

    We use bytes, K bytes, M bytes, G bytes and T bytes.

    Using bits with a lower case b is a byte / 8 and can be useless and misleading to the average viewer.

    Nice to know, but this equates to a sender and receiver scan. If all data is harvested from the cell calls, then that is similar to scanning the letter inside as well.

    What exactly is within the metadata of the Aussie call information would be interesting to know.

    However when something like that plastic falls down a hugely greater distance, like the bottom of much of the ocean, it will compress, but also, does it stay there, or will it be moved/migrate at all? Remember that NYC used to haul loads of garbage out to sea and just dump it. No idea if that still happens or not.

    Why you assume that bacteria will break down everything is beyond me. And what will the bacteria break this plastic down into? Its precursor, perhaps? Crude oil? Petroleum?
