I mean it would make sense. If they used Windows they could claim money for losses if Windows crashes under them. The same thing with the software they're using. Why use Linux? They can't claim money from anyone if it fails.
Are we on the brink of a society controlled by big companies instead of nations? Especially in the US, it seems things are going more and more into securing the well being of companies instead of individuals.
Frankly, it scares me. I hope another great nation would rise, like Germany.
Little by little, internet seems to be going down. I hope with transition to IPv6 they have got ironed out the problems that became so apparent with IPv4 related networks.
If there is vulnerability, you can be sure the haxor kids will take advantage of it. My starting page (http://www.thehitlers.cjb.net) for example seemed to be down yesterday.
Well the good part of all these news is that they at least KNOW there is a problems and are trying to solve them.
I used computers for most of my youth and it did only good for me. I learned english, learned to be a better reader. The games trained my reflexes. Later I learned logical thinking, and I got into touch with other white people who think like I do. Computers have saved my life, and they can save your kid's life too.

Man.. a lot. When will I get that fast connection? It would allow me to play some of this cool music at pretty high fidelity.
.. i think. I've found that when it's something that requires brain work (umm, like coding) it's good to get long periods of continuous work. It takes some time to get into the "mood" where you just start hitting code. Also, of course, every time you start over you gotta think and "reorganize" your thoughts to the problem at hand. It takes some time too.
What's this? Obviously people don't have to hand write their code for different cards. That's why we have DirectX and OpenGL and what not. They handle that shit. No worries, people.
What comes to ATI vs. NVidia. I've always resented ATI, and NVidia has always had better cards. But my opinion has started to change to favor ATI. NVidia's refusal to release any open specs to create drivers for their cards is blasphemy. At least ATI is open about their sucky hardware (Radeon is actually quite nice).

Is it because US demands that weak encryption be used so that they can unencrypt the transmissions? This must be stopped or we're at year 88 again.
you think this will stop them skript kiddos who can hack away at it 16 hours a day? And the most frightening thing is they are motivated to do it.

until these are in mass production and in consumer machines? I'm not holding my breath for it. Surely will take a couple of years.
