Thinking about this, its the tipping point I feel from the internet being a military network and a academic and a research network, to a full blown business network with significant commerical interests.
I don't know how to feel strangely, because we have known it will eventually happen, but it seems a little bit has been lost in the process of change.
I'm not against change, I just ponder where we are heading...
Having just upgraded all my CRT monitors to LCD, The difference in refresh was only noticable after the first week or so. But the clarity of the LCD screen makes all the difference. I look forward to this coming forward and letting me spend more money:)
One Key question is how does microsoft's ClearType work with this, as is uses Aliasing across pixels, does it effect the the refresh rate as well?

I wonder if this is the kind of "law breaker" DoJ hopes to lock behind bars for the rest of his life?
You only miss freedom when its ripped away from your soul. The Civil Liberties that American's enjoy are what make the culture what it is today, and not only will they remove your freedom, but you will change the fabric of the American Society.
Its like they have totally given up on Gun control and decided the "geeks" are a easy target because they havn't created a politcal lobby force to protest effectively about what really troubles them.
Soon, there will be nothing to fight about because we will have given up our freedom to think
They must have known something was coming, somethig this big doesn't just slip under the INS/FBI/CIA or whatever they can be called this week without somebody knowing something.
Maybe our Military has gotten TOO big, and the chains of command are too long for real information to flow...
