No, this is not how it's supposed to work.
Finance reform has to come with campaign spending limits. It MUST come with change to the
constitution. We can boot the government up if it's already got "corruption for the sake of free speech" built in.

It must be that you can spend only very little money to get into elected office. There must be a free speech exemption here. If you're loaded, too bad, still can't spend it for this purpose.
    It's the only way.

Knuth's books are timeless. Java, C++, C, Fortran... it's all pretty irrelevant. If you spend some time with Knuth's books it reduces the rest of the books on programming to piddly details that need little time.

Deep Fritz is SIGNIFICANTLY slower than Deep Blue. Fritz is a program available from www.chessbase.com. Deep Fritz is a modified version of this program running on a multiprocessor system. Deep Blue was a real bastard chessplayer. Specialized chips (Much much more multiprocessing). Deep Fritz is supposed to rely on more search shortcuts (not necessarily better algorithms than DB). The most important difference may be that the human (Kramnik) has a playing style much different from Kasparov's; Kramnit is much better suited to playing calculating silicon monsters.
