I would think the most likely avenue of attack given the subs and ships sitting so close to NK would be nuclear cruise missiles which can definitely be controlled.
They have never been used where both sides possessed nuclear armaments before, nor where both sides were run by sadistic SOB's that don't give a shit for anyone but themselves.
Far too many novice users have no understanding what a VPN is.
Everyone I know has one to get around stupid geoblocking restrictions. The Internet is not designed for geographic borders, so attempts to enforce them are what drives the VPN industry.
exactly, The use case described by the OP is actually something I don't care about except for work in which case other people do the work needed for me. For my personal use VPN's are an anti geofencing/geoblocking mechanism and a means to get different prices on digital goods where pricing differs by region.
would love to know a free option that lets me bypass geofencing all over the world and is fast. currently I use my VPN service to terminate in various countries depending on the content I want to access/purchase or to bypass local monitoring altogether.
Definitely deserving of the F, for fucks sake any person with half a brain would have only raised their score to just passing grades to avoid obvious detection. I can only assume you used the same genius to achieve the F in the first place.
was not claiming their was an equivalent or that switching was a good or bad idea. Merely pointing out how flawed the approach was if you are not looking at your total costs. Some people that don't do much can switch quite easily and cheaply, for others they will lose functionality and the costs will skyrocket.
not the only difference. It is the only difference a non trained eye can spot, usually most of the differences can be found in the more obscure parts of the bag or on the internals. Some people still believe the myth that they are made by the same people that make the real ones no matter how many times it is debunked, but as far as look and feel it is a perfect item to buy as no one is likely to spot you have a fake, but its resale value is only a fraction of the price you paid whereas the authentic ones actually hold their value.
They seem to sell competing products in the space that they have these patents and utilise the patents in tech, I think by definition that makes them NOT a patent troll. perhaps the patents are dodgy but that is a separate issue.
The high quality knockoff handbags are now all handmade as well as the money for quality fakes is huge. It takes a trained eye to be able to spot the fakes. In Bali my wife was in one of the handbag shops and even when I told her they were fakes she was unable to spot any real signs of it on 2 of the chanel bags. (FYI the reason you can tell they are fakes is they were selling at 25% of actual retail price, before bartering)
WTF? windows Desktop market share is still over 90%. they still have roughly half the server marketshare as well. Are you doing the retard thing and including phones, tablets, watches and any other thing you can throw in to try and make the numbers look worse?
It is fine to take that approach, but then you have to include that in the cost of switching, for some systems that will involve 10's of millions of development costs for many places which are pretty damn hard to justify in order to save a fraction of that on licensing.
That thing looks like a death trap, a bit of buffeting causing you to move and you could lose a leg or two not to mention a failure of a single engine would surely be completely catastrophic for the rider
The fact most code is basically boilerplate/similiar is EXACTLY the fucking problem and why companies want to avoid at all costs seeing other companies work products. Good luck proving you didn't leverage the code you were just shown in a law suit where you both have boilerplate type implementations in your competing products.
The problem is by showing it he is showing an extreme lack of judgement and ethics, even if it is not the secret sauce would you really want to hire someone with such a screwed up moral compass as you can't even be sure it is the only thing he took and won't know if their are other nasty ramifications down the road. The ONLY way showing the code would be acceptable is with a signed release from the company saying he has their permission to do so.
won't get caught... maybe. Won't get the job... fucking definitely. Anyone walks in with code belonging to another organisation there is no fucking way on earth I am trusting them access to our organisations code.
Generally, code that you wrote for pay does not belong to you, so you won't be able to submit it as a code sample anyway. So write some open source software, and write it as well as you are able. Then you can submit that.
exactly, unless you have explicit permission to share and show that code from work it aint yours to show to a new prospective employer. If you need code then contribute to a open source project or write something at home that demonstrates your good coding practises. I have moved out of coding now but when I did I always demonstrated home projects as I don't have the right to keep let alone show code I wrote for other employers.
skilled typists are actually 100-120 words per minute or about 15-20 characters per second. average typists like me are 50-70 words per minute, still way faster than anyone can talk or gesture or any other shit.
What the fuck is this garbage? google haven't gotten better with design they have gotten a 1000 times worse. Android is not an example of google design, it is a success despite the horrid design and inconsistent user experience.
If I could buy all my content in HD I would (and do when available). Reality is it isn't available for purchase due to the exclusive deals with crappy providers, a movie industry that cares more for money than quality and an attitude that still thinks it is the 1980's for content distribution models.
yes it uses considerably more power. When your machine is idle (depending on age, CPU etc) your machine will be lowering the core speed of the CPU or putting cores to sleep to lower power usage, a javascript maxing out your CPU will drive up the processor speed and chew power. worse yet this sort of shit is one of the most inefficient methods to mine coins, but then what do they care, it isn't their resources they are wasting.
I would think the most likely avenue of attack given the subs and ships sitting so close to NK would be nuclear cruise missiles which can definitely be controlled.
and so can missiles these days... or at least deactivated/diverted/self destructed

I noticed the summary conveniently left of the very last item in the list of the article of affected devices "and Linux servers".

. Now the fakes are being made in the same factory as the originals, either by third shift or just selling the units that don't pass quality-control.
That is actually a bit of an old wives tale, told by the producers of the fakes to try and add some authenticity and value to the fakes.

despite the articles insinuation none of that information is considered secret.
