My unproffessional,though experienced advice is most managers(ana supervisors)do not have much talent for even managing themselves,let alone someone of an intelligent mode.A geek being usually brilliant or at least talented teckies,the average supervisor is put there because of a personality or pull,not talent.More financial gain in non aggravating pure work,mental or physical than the strain and mantel of someone to lay down rules,follow through and enforce.
The newest issue of Linux Journal has several features on Linux and Java.The program writing and backbiting of forces,philosophy of free software and programs.There is room for both and Microsoft better realize the controls are off.Philosophy can stop Unix and the big M also.Aren't we really a group of idealists at heart?

Noticed the improvement in content!Really push delete,they give up after awhile.When you look at their site it adds month to your sentence.
