I think you mean "as opposed to closed source where source code is an asset and the company will keep investing in it by assigning new programmers to it".
The guy who had unparalleled attention to detail quit the company a few years ago, because he died. The new guy in charge seems afraid to tell people that their ideas suck.
I don't know much about [garage door openers], but I've read you can make a crypto-mining network out of [linksys routers from 2006 in my closet]. The [8] of them should be able to mine about half a Dogecoin per hour.
Water is probably the bigger problem, I think the GP is being overly optimistic, I would like to see a system that condenses enough water from the desert air to feed a small city. Not saying it can't be done, but I'd like to see it first.
I know a place that condensed so much water from the air that in the end they flooded the entire place. There's a bad side to this story though, the place was full of warlords fighting for a spice of some kind.
And people are saying the people already living there are in trouble. Not enough water, requires a lot of energy just to stay livable by our modern standards, and on top of that it's going to be far from work so that means even more energy to move people back and forth between home and work twice a day.
As the population of humans on the planet continues to grow, it will becomes increasingly necessary to move into and settle regions previously considered inhospitable.
If you can't understand that Blizzard is giving something for free for people who bought ONE campaign but nothing to people who bought TWO campaigns, I can't help you either.
If you already own Wings of Liberty (as the episode is called) you can also get the Heart of the Swarm chapter for free by logging in and claiming it before December 8.
What if you supported Blizzard by paying for both "Wings of Liberty" and "Heart of the Swarm"? You get nothing?

"Well, I just got back from going outside. And it was cold..."
"Oh, you mean... unresponsiveness."
"Yes. Significant unresponsiveness."
California? Nobody lives in water.
Oh wait, it's still 2017. My bad.
Live your life as if it's your last days, my friend!
The Canadian market is to the USA market what the USA market is to the Asian market.
So why the fuck should Apple give even one shit about the small north-american market?

What is "usable and understandable to others", though?
I always use brackets for my ifs, my ifs/else, switch/case, etc. You can't NOT see the blocks of code.
And I never understood why something as obscure as "if x:?z" exists, its purpose only makes for unreadable code.
What do you mean? African click wheel iPod or European iOS iPod touch?

Good luck.
Well, if he really wants to build a city with a dome over it, he should contact someone with experience like the EPA.
A "smart" city would be one that's not built in a freakin' desert .
What do you mean by "they don't supply any significant amount"? As if lawns are supplying any water on their own?
And hopefully he'll get a droid that knows enough about languages that it can fix your posts.

New Jersey is not that bad.
No, CD is successor to cassette tape.
If it can't target something as small as ATtiny25, it's not an alternative to C.
I knew there was a good reason to keep this VIA C3 Mini-ITX motherboard around!
Why does everybody keeps saying that AMD made the PSP? It's made by SONY you morans!

Blizzard? Intrusive DRM scheme?
Take off every 'ZIG'*.
* ZIG is a flying unit. Your zerglings are dead.

Maybe he never expected that much power going to mine them. As far as I understand it, the less people mine it the easier it gets but it still works.
