I believe it's due to color differences between
different pieces. Some large outdoors displays
are composed of small perhaps 16x16 blocks of LEDs, and the borders between blocks are easily seen and in fact, quite annoying.
Went to a restaurant the other day. There was all this food on the buffet and the first thing I thought was I'll bet that food is there for a reason. I went hungry that day, not wanting to upset the delicate equilibrium of the restaurant environment and contented myself by soaking in the ambiance.
Why was this post moderated as Insightful? One can use the same kind of argumentation to justify every evil opportunistic thing done in the history of the human kind.
