Does anyone know for certain if the language laws restrict just English, or all non-French languages? I've looked around on lots of websites, but I've just gotten a lot of conflicting answers.
Perhaps this is a good time to mention to our worldwide neighbors that the Liberals and the Conservatives in Canada are political parties, and that "liberal" and "Liberal", and "conservative" and "Conservative" here can be entirely different things. The exact times that they are different things depends on who you talk to.:)
It could be that MS is just scared of the US government turning away from MS products, and instead using open source products. The US gov't spends an awful lot of money on software licences, and MS wouldn't like to see that revenue drop off. My guess is that they weren't trying to get open source software made illegal, they were just trying to make sure that federal agencies don't start using open source products.
Politicians are all for control, but not for handing out huge sums of money like this. I wonder if it could be argued, in a civil suit on the part of the industry, that this would be too great a financial burden?

Actually, those two are prime examples of games I found dull to tears. I want to see another X-Wing Alliance or Homeworld...
