Yet we are supposed to believe that powerful agencies with no oversight aren't? The NSA's first concern is to make NSA operators rich and dominant over the peasantry.

When interviewed the boys said they were not drowning but distressed because the drone is used to spot sharks and it scared them. The price is also being kept a secret. There is a lot of viral marketing on this. Someone is working really hard to builk the government of hundreds of thousands and potentially millions of dollars.

What do you have to say about sightings that are caught on radar? Or mass sightings like the one over Phoenix? Even if 99.9% is bullshit there is still a chance that the last .1% is real. It is not smart to be so damn sure of something that you put blinders on. I will be skeptical until they release the evidence that convinced him so I can see for myself if it is a logical conclusion. But I'm not going to assume that there can't be aliens.

That would really be throwing the baby out with the bath water. When people say the CIA is corrupt, or can't be trusted it doesn't mean that they are all comic book villains. It is enough that bad actors have enough sway within the organization to do terrible things. Just like a cop won't cross the blue line a spook won't blow a whistle.

It may be possible to write an AI that does really well on IQ tests. That would not invalidate the validity of the test on humans nor prove that the AI is more intelligent than a human. IQ tests predict success in humans, they may not in AI.

What a ridiculous statement. Your assumption of people's intelligence is meaningless. Unless you tested people with a valid IQ test you could not even begin to learn anything about IQ. People who do that consistently find the opposite.

  16. Re: IQ measures your ability to test for IQ on League of Legends Rank Predicts IQ, Study Finds (plos.org) · · Score: 1, Informative

IQ results are proven to predict success in a lot of things. Thinking that IQ does not measure intelligence is a sign of low IQ. You can go ahead and argue that there are other types of intelligence, but that argument does little other than conflate skills with intelligence. IQ measures your ability to solve problems. IQ tests a are reproducible, consistent, and predictive. That so many people write it off as pseudoscience proves only how stupid most people are.
