Yes gimp already as a progress bar. Once this progress bar reaches the end, the program isn't started, instead the scrollbar starts over. When it gets to the end again it starts over. It repeats quite a few times. This progress bar doesn't exactly show progress just shows that something is going on.
That's why you pick and choose based on your needs. The neuros is slightly smaller than a walkman, and the way i've dropped it from 5 feet onto concrete as solid as a brick. Yeah smaller would be nice, but it was a smaller consern than ogg support, fm broadcasting, price, and fm radio. All of these features the neuros smokes the ipod.
I own two at home, and many at work. We have no dead pixels. LCD's with dead pixels as far as I'm concerned are junk and I do notice dead pixels as they are quite distracting. The first lcd I've ever bought had a dead pixel and I brought it right back to the store. I don't refrain from buying an lcd for fear of a dead pixel I mearly check all warranties and refuse to buy ones that I don't feel offer a proper warranty. Sometimes there is a store warranty you can buy that covers a dead pixel, this would get factored into the price when choosing such an lcd.
> So, you have 20-40GB of music on you at all times and you want to listen to the RADIO??
yeah, I also have 20-40GB of news saved on my mp3 player, oh wait I don't, that's why I have the "RADIO??", I also like to listen to traffic reports, game scores, and other LIVE content on this "RADIO??"
My neuros does fine with playback of ogg. I don't care what excuse apple has for not supporting it.
I won't buy anything lcd unless it comes with a warranty for 0 dead pixels, for most laptops and lcd's it means factoring in the extended warranty as part of the cost. Only 0 dead pixels is acceptible.
Really even $40 is way to much to pay for a game that requires a subscription. They should just give away the game or sell it for 15. Alot more people would jump on just to try it and more would end up staying on.
You have to look at context. There's certainly a difference between someone who's job it is to represent the presidents views to the rest of the world and a bunch of spooks.
I'm not exactly comfortable with all the agencies that have no acountability, it matters little who is running them, either way they are probably abusing them.
I think it's good that they appoint someone with similar views to the president no matter how crappy they are. Sending someone who doesn't agree with the president's views as a diplomat will not help diplomacy work. At least now the rest of the world will deal with someone who is more on the inside of the bush administration. In the end it may help.
Just like the competition between coke and pepsi. It seams that ATI and NVidia at least have a silent agreement for high prices. All the competition has been left behind or consolidated into them.
I'm sorry any video card at $400 is not a great deal. That's starting to be 1/3 the price of a computer. Why when every other part of a computer has gotten cheaper over the years do video cards get more expensive? I've heard it's because they have more transistors and stuff on them, but that is tru for cpu's too, I think ever since the lack of competition in the market prices have only gone up. There used to be alot more players in the game. (3dfx, nvidia, mga, s3, ati etc. ..)

lies damn lies and statistics. Your screen is malfunctioning.

> Absolutely. Good thing I'm not a conservative, I'm a libertarian.
The problem with libertarians is that they assume wealth happens in a vacuum.
I just don't see the parties on the left as being anti-corporation. I don't think there is an anti-corporate politician.

>liberals tend to want to give the government more and more money via taxes.
and modern day conservatives since reagan want the government to borrow more and more money.
>it is that the government (the Congress) has been abusing their power to write laws that abridge our freedoms.
like the patriot act, definetly supported more by the right then the left.
>you seem to be anti-corporation, and that is generally from that side of the spectrum.
anti-corp is neither liberal nor conservative, but it tends to be anti-aristocratic.
and spring water
> Corporations - evil. (Forget that they supply you with jobs, not the government, unless you work for the government.)
most jobs come from small business.
then your anti death cheat becomes pull the ethernet cord right before you die.

That means you are either innatentive or you follow way to close.
I wonder if Balmer knows who wrote any Microsoft software. He may say microsoft wrote it but microsoft isn't a programer.

I heard that they won a game or two in 1991.
>Which would move the government to focus on urban issues and ignore rural issues entirely.
Considering where most of the tax money comes from this would be a good thing.
