Why not reply to my post? "Perfect play" is a well defined term in gambling, and in some games skill is actually a factor. I point the interested reader at the rec.gambling faq. We now return you to your regular ignorant trolling.
I know at least 5 people who have shown me code which does this. It's no biggy. What is interesting is that looking at their statistics it is clear that online casinos cheat when they detect perfect play, but it is very very hard to prove.
uhh.. hello, you're surfing the web with a help browser. Maybe if you didn't go to just the 4 sites in the world that are designed to look good in Konqueror you would know this (or try to view a web diff with it).
other people have done such a better job than me. Read my post again, it is my brain and I will recall what I want to recall. Until my local police head back in time and reinstate the inquisition they wont be getting my pass phrases, or anything else in my head that I chose not to give up -- and even then, they'll get a fight. What dont you understand here? It's the ultimate violation.
Dont you think for just one moment that this bill provides a provision that says "excluding registered computer virus researchers", like every other computer related law on the books in Australia? Anyone who knows anything about the antivirus industry knows full well that it is a cartel. Symantec and the other members of CARO would like nothing better than everyone else to be excluded from antivirus research. It helps them maintain their power. As for the bill itself, have you even read it? If so, I would really like a copy cause yet again an online "journalist" has failed to provide basic references. Please dont tell me you're forming your opinion on the three lines printed in the article or the poor attempt at a sentence provided in the summary on Slashdot.
The EFA hasn't updated its web page since the last time slashdot beat it to the punch. I know someone who is actively involved in the EFA. He calls it his "hobby" and hasn't done shit in a long time.
If you just say "nope.. I won't do it"... You SHOULD be in a lot of trouble
You can have my keys, they are useless without my pass phrases and you can have my pass phrases, when you extract them from my cold dead brain (using mnemonic sensors, probably).
just ship them half way around the world to build your railroads, tend your farms and be discrimated against after you finally figure out that slavery is wrong.
Err, am I the only person on earth who starts imagining something by recalling the smell and the taste of the event? I tell ya, if I could remember what I've seen as well as I can remember what I've smelt I would tell reality to go jump. Right now, let me think about watermelon. *woah* sweet. It is genuinely hard for me to tell the difference between a "real" taste and an imagined one. This could be just one of those things that is part of the differences in human experiences.
Played and finished the game, it was a few hours of entertainment, but a hell of a yawner. Why not come up with a decent plot? Or let the dead horse alone.
I would recommend that you people look on Sourceforge, there's a few hundred projects that could rival.net at the moment (the ones that actually have code checked in before they are abandoned) and the ones where someone requested the project and then didn't even enter a description are about on equal footing as.net (after all, what is it again guys?) People talk about Microsoft's attacks on the GPL just being a diversionary tactic, well, has anyone considered that this whole.net thing might be the same. You know, maybe the game hasn't changed and the desktop is still king.
Let me see if I understand the situation. If I've got it wrong you can disregard my comment.
Party A violates Party B's trademark
Party C notices the infringement
Party C informs Party A of the infringement
Party C demands money from Party A
I see a major problem between part 3 and part 4, namely, Party A did not request nor commission the services of Party C. Party B did not object to the violation of trademark (maybe that consider Party A's use to be ok). My real concern here is that Party C doesn't appear to have to get a contract before they demand payment. Assumably if you dont pay then the force of the state will come into play. This is not what I call free trade.
The aircon in my office is louder than the two pcs I have under my desk (and the other 2 pcs in the room, although the dorky one of my officemates turns his computer off at night). When the aircon turns off at night and the weekends it is really significant. You can turn it back on for two hours buy turning a timer switch but when the aircon actually turns off the pressure change is enough to wake you up (and is therefore pointless). More Office Livin' tips.
I'm the last person to nazi on spelling and grammar but for Taco I'll make an exception. Even in the "good old days" he would actually bother to read his own post before he put it on the front page. Oh and btw, the "silent PC" debate went out in the 80's. Get over it.

It's not hard, you open a dictionary, or a book of children's name and you point randomly. Choose a freakin' name.

dude, are you like the most naive person on this Internet or what? Gillian Anderson has done porn. *That* is why fakes of her are so popular.
According to the Fake Detective Gillian Anderson is still the most "faked" celebrity on the Internet.
that he didn't try to top his last trick, convincing us that he didn't exist.
It's a water cooler.

no-one used the term "Illustrator" before Adobe and the KIllustrator project should actually come up with a unqiue name for their clone.
sigh, why log in if you are not going to give an email address. Would you care to continue this conversation? email me.
