Unfortunately with the completion of the Ueno-Tokyo Line in 2015, delays are happening more often as each train travels twice as much distance now (Atami - Takasaki = 140km), allowing accidents in one place to cause disruption in a wider area.
Firefox was getting slower and slower to the point that I almost pulled the trigger to switch to Chrome. Firefox 57 appears to have fixed that. Stuff that used to lag a lot like Facebook and news websites are now fast.
Firefox was getting so slow that I almost made the switch to Chrome. Google Maps was lagging for 5 seconds on any pan or zoom. Facebook regularly froze up. Scrolling on many news websites lagged considerably.
This new update made a difference. Mozilla should be applauded for making this work despite having the cards stack against them.
