I can see this working in upper level classes (where you probably wouldn't need it), but usually the programming assignments in CIS 101 aren't very complicated. There's only so many ways a person can interpret cout"Hello World." I would think many of those programs would turn out VERY similar just out of chance.
I can't quite remember where I saw it...it was either in a Dell or a PowerPC, but there was a separate "chamber" that you could remove from the tower and then insert/remove cards with ease.
Troll? What the hell is wrong with you moderators?? It was a valid comment. Seriously, why would you even consider spending that much for a graphics card for Linux??
If you want to play games, use Windows.
And if you want to graphic design or CAD work, get a Mac.
I don't see why you'd even want a decent graphics card for a Linux box. It would just be a waste of money. Unless you like to go around telling people that your server/development machine has a bitchin' video card.
Why stop with just Texas? We should egt rid of everyone south of DC. The biggest mistake this country ever made was winning the Civil War. We should have just let all those inbred bastards secede. Hell, let those fru-fru Californian tree-huggers and movie stars go with them.
You, sir, are a gentleman and a statesman. I thank you, my father thanks you, and my father's father thanks you.

Have you ever actually used Win XP before?
I have XP installed on a three-year-old machine and it runs faster than Redhat 7.2 on the other partition.
REALLY?!?
ALL of those games??!?!
WOW! I'd better install Linux on my game machine right away!!
Please keep us informed of your progress!
