The feds need to stay out of states ethical laws. Let the states dictate how to control mature content. The feds have their hands full with the drug war.
What we need is a way to automatically reply to these phishing scams with bogus information. I'd like to be able to order everything sent in a spam message too with bogus information. Beat them at their own game!
90 decibles worth of fan & computer noise in a 50 degree F room with fans blowing all over you streching a phone (cell won't work) 20 foot so I can sit on the floor and use the keyboard with the monitor 5 foot above me. After a week I found a monitor box to sit on. I miss working at Global Crossing! hah
I think the exact opposite is true. The hardware these days is amazingly fast. Once software matures to use the new hardware to the fullest potential I will be a much happier gamer.
I think software has a long way to go in other fields besides gaming. Windows 2003 is not a giant leap forward and users of Windows still want more features/reliability/speed. Increasing hardware speed only helps so much if the software isn't developed.
I think the gov't helped create this story in order to make people think the stock market can make you money. The people that actually believe this story might believe this paragraph too which would make them invest now:
Carlssin declared that he had traveled back in time from over 200 years in the future, when it is common knowledge that our era experienced one of the worst stock plunges in history. Yet anyone armed with knowledge of the handful of stocks destined to go through the roof could make a fortune.
I agree on this will be an interesting battle of the CPU gods. Itanium lacking the X86 compatibility was a huge mistake. Almost as big as the Rambus SNAFU. I have not even seen a single Itanium sale anywhere out of all the new servers I see.
I plan on buying the clawhammer shortly after it comes out. I've been holding off upgrading until AMD's 64-bit CPU comes out. Why you ask? Well a much lower MHz Clawhammer will outperform high MHz P4's running 32-bit apps! Obvisouly it will be some time before 64-bit apps are out.
As long as they have a warrant I think this should be legal for them to do. In a few years it will be obsolete since we'll have bio-interfaces to our computers. Lets see them tap into that without us knowing!
