The difference is that twitter would ban anyone for certain content within their posts, not just a particular group of people (supposedly, not saying this is perfectly enforced). These homophobic bakers are refusing to provide service specifically to a protected class that they would otherwise provide to their customers. It's clearly different.

No, serious news organizations report on the news, seriously. Just because you think what they're saying is "total garbage" doesn't make it so.
