  1. drivers license and car vs. SpaceWalker on Build Your Own Mini-Computer · · Score: 0

I just can't decide, I have the money for a drivers license and a cheap car(approx. 4000 in US$) but this litle thingie looks so cute, I meen all I have to do would be to put in a nice geforce2 MX400 and one of my spare blocks of 512MB ram, buy my a hub and somekind of a switch for keyboard, mouse, monitor and speakers preferably in one switchbox. I could just take the bus for the rest of my life right? who needs a car? on the other hand I could just get the car and the gadget here
    who needs a drivers license?
and maybe even a new flatscreen to go in the car

The idea of the internet, wasn't that to make information avaiable to everbody? regardless of they'r technical skill or bank account? OK admitted a penny isn't much, but I would not pay it, I wouldn't even pay 1/100000000 of an italian lire.
If a website isn't able to survive on commercials alone the webmasters should start to reconsider running it or maybe start thinking of a better way to run it amybe with other contents. This is called evolution and will amke the internet more eficient.
When the day comes that this is put to work 'i will have to spend all my time on usenet instead plain surffing, and I hope that alot of people will do the same thing.

The game look great and runs above average on my computer, but it looks to much like axis and allies for halflife, well if that's good is up to each person to decide, but I don't like, but that's just me, I'm a Delta Force and Operation Flashpoint guy. Now I just need to find the old Wolfenstein again:-)

  7. This is just typical on EU May Outlaw Cookies · · Score: 0, Offtopic

It's typical, EU allways stick its nose where it shouldn't be, like withe the cucombers they are trying to ban the ugly ones, apples when they are to small was to be banned as well. Considering that the EU was formed to make european trading more easy, I just don't get it, ok the cucombers and apples - we need standards but this is like the european curency, police and army ideas... they just don't make sense. actualy they do if we want something like the states, and speaking not only for my self - and with all respect for the states - we don't, I'm proud of the Danish flag, the language, the curency and the culture, of course without becoming a racist, actualy i welcome foreigners to Denmark as long they behave, if they have danish citizenship they are to be treated just like any other criminal with danish citizen ship.

  8. only motion, 10fps, CD storage on Large-Scale Video Archiving? · · Score: 1

Ok I don't know alot about this kind storage amount but what about using 10fps the human eye can only catch about 12fps so it don't really matter, that would it down to approx 2,7 TB/day. Then do the only motion thing and save 100:1 and that'll be appox. 27,3 GB/day or appox. 28MB/day/cam. Then use CDs for storing a 700MB cd would be able to take 25days/cam and could be easily stored.
