You also have to keep in mind that high current distribution lines have one hell of an EMF field around them. I don't think that they have yet found a good enough method to insulate them from ground so as to put them in almost direct contact with it.

Uhhh.. doesn't take much to realize he was probably saying that a "huge majority" of the "Failed Drives" were maxtor, not just a majority of the overall installed drives.
