Wireless is not part of the backbone, it is a last mile solution for clients. Waiting to get the final version correct is the right choice considering the possible problems that could arise from a bad implemenation.
Centos really is much better kept then Whitebox. Centos also has a much larger following, this is obvious from the fact that Centos 4 came out much faster then Whitebox.
I still think one of the biggest problems with MySQL is the method it uses for storing tables on the disk. Storing tables is a single file becomes very limiting in terms of disk I/O. They still need to focus on scalability and enterprise performance for large systems.
UML to Code is the same kind of thing and its stupid. Various attempts have been tried to get the UML to transfer to code but it really only works for framework type code and not the logic based stuff that is actually the harder part.
What is WinFS going to do for Windows? It thought it was going to add database like support in the filesystem but apparently it looks like from the screen shots that it already has it.
Realistically this just doesn't work because the overall best integrated system is still windows. Linux may be cheaper on a per seat basis but when you consider how many people are required to keep the systems running it becomes less and less clear that Linux us the way to go.
Regardless, Centos should pay a little respect for the OS they are using. as long as RedHat doesn't bother Centos, I think people should know where the OS is originally coming from.

Has anybody done a feature comparison or benchmarks for that matter?
I agree people should just stick with more stable and widely used distrobutions such as Centos.

Is this really a solution or just another to prolong ?
