    Ummm anyone who cares, google BBproxy and Blackhat/Defcon. There were multiple demonstations of this, and more. This is not just FUD, it is an important potential security hole, into many top enterprise companies.

    I guess its time to go to work and quickly migrate our 350 production FreeBSD machines to something not dead...

    Thank you so much for telling me, all this time I thought I was using the fastest, most stable OS for x86, but it turns out a fat-gay penguin must have stomped on my OS.

    Well first off, no one in there right mind would listen to what you have to say: "Even Emacs Lite is straining to keep up as I type this."
    cause you use Emacs.

    If you have half a brain there is no faster x86 OS than FreeBSD.

    I am not an addict, I just use the best tool out there.

    Its not like someone could throw up an ActiveX enabled webpage, and root your box.

    The last few windows vulnerabilities have been a huge deal. Microsoft wouldnt bother to fix a hole this small unless someone made a worm for it.
