One and two were the same event. Where, wait for it. A campaign sign was burned and two people were arrested.
Versus mass vandalism and rioting.
And three a single racist individual versus massive protests and riots in multiple cities across the nation.
Yes there will always be the occasional idiot that goes too far, no political view is free from idiots. But the given examples of sore losers on the right do not even begin to compare to what we are seeing from the sore losers on the left.
Nowhere did Trump ever call for deporting Muslims, Jews or Blacks or even legal Latino immigrants. Nor did he ever call for harming anyone. He called for the deportation of illegal immigrants (regardless of race or ethnicity) and he called for a halt to immigration of Muslims from certain nations until we can better determine their reason for wanting to come to this country. If to live peacefully that is fine. If to cause harm then we want to stop them.
And I have yet to see the footage of such racist chants as you are falsely claiming occurred at the victory party.
Actually there is a great deal of support for splitting the state out in the red counties. They would love to have their views and votes matter again, instead of LA SF and Silicon Valley ruling the state and running it ever further into ruin.
You keep claiming voter suppression. Citation needed. Poll watching is not voter suppression. When there were multiple instances caught (on both sides) of voter fraud occurring poll watching is essential to protect the integrity of the electoral process. Closing polls? Where? Oh wait my county shut down all but a few of the traditional polling locations and went with vote by mail, of course I should mention it's a majority white and republican area so was my vote suppressed?
Mishandling classified information, Or actually based on the description of her actions by Dir Comey, Deliberate Security compromise, both fall under the espionage act, and so Treason, while a little excessive isn't that far off. I'm fine not calling it treason (most claims of Treason by high level politicians are far from actual acts of Treason), but she's still a felon a hundred or so times over. I call putting TS information onto an unclassified, non-government server a deliberate act (as was instructing her aids to strip markings and fax her info via an unsecure fax). But even if we drop the deliberate acts, it's still large scale mishandling of classified information which is a felony that many a prosecutor would jump at a chance to prosecute. Why would they jump? Because there is no Intent requirement. All they have to prove is that she mishandled classified information. And her sending emails containing classified information is the proof.
America picked the far lesser evil. Trump is a loudmouthed blowhard with morals on par with Bill Clinton, but he's not a felon waiting to be prosecuted. He is a successful businessman who knows how the economy works and knows how to negotiate and make deals. He's less than ideal but Clinton was far worse.
1: We'll see what happens when the US markets open. But even if they do drop, they are overdue for a correction. 2: Sure because it's being suggested. I saw that as a suggested link and clicked on it just for the laugh, thus adding to the click count. Trending news is often viral just because of the headline, not because people actually believe or are interested in it.
We thank the Dems who crossed party lines to vote in early open primaries for Trump. By the time it got to states with closed primaries (which he was losing badly in) he had the momentum and delegate lead that was too big to overcome (especially with the idiot Kasich staying in to the end splitting the non-trump vote when he had no chance at all, but Cruz still did.)
You are right, Trump is not a real Republican, but we took what we had and made it work.
You realize that Pakistan is an almost 100% Muslim nation. In fact it's the nation formed by the Muslims of India being separated and moving to the territories that became Pakistan as the Hindu's moved to India. Your argument does nothing to counter the prior comment, rather it supports it. Asian does not equal oriental, but includes much of what is considered the "Muslim world".
Actually the parallels are very weak. Hitler was elected to power in a weak and struggling postwar Germany being destroyed by a killer depression causing massively run away inflation. He was elected as chancellor over a substantially different government structure. One that allowed him to quietly seize control from a weak and sickly President and consolidate his power. Hitler was backed by a political party that had it's own paramilitary force that helped him seize control and eliminate the elective aspect of his position.
Trump was elected during a relatively stable economic period, one not as robust as it could and should be, but still stable. He has no path to consolidate power and seize control for life as Hitler was able to do. He has no paramilitary army to aid him in seizing control. He will be faced with a congress entirely mistrustful of him and ready to block him when he attempts to overstep his Constitutional boundaries.
Anyone claiming to see parallels are only looking at surface similarities based on biased mis-interpretations of his statements, and not the underlying differences that prevent either side from bringing a Hitler to power. FDR was more akin to Hitler than Trump can or will be.
Baloney. Trump only called for a halt on immigration of Muslims until we have better vetting. He did not call to ban or deport or even mistreat all Muslims. Try reading the actual statement not the deliberate mis-interpretation by the left wing media.
Sorry you and the 1st circuit Judges do have it wrong. It isn't about free speech it's about the long history of vote coercion where employees or Union members were required to vote a certain way to retain employment, or even to avoid harm to self or family. Allowing selfies makes that type of coercion possible again. Yes you can redo the ballot, but if the coercive entity has a poll watcher observing you?
These laws are in place for a reason. We know the history we don't need to repeat it. These bans are NOT about social media they are 100% about preventing vote buying and vote coercion. Your vote is supposed to be secret for a reason.
Funny, got an update just last week via my carrier. Don't know how long it took them to decide to push the update out, but to simply flat claim they are abandoned with no updates is patently false.
Before you start jacking up the cost of coal power, you better have a replacement online, a stable source available 24/7 regardless of weather. That means a lot more Nuclear. Not one plant in 20 years.
The vandal resistant windscreen does exist, it's a formed sheet of diamond plate steel with titanium reinforcement struts. Not very useful if you actually want to drive anywhere but is very resistant to vandals trying to break it. Though it does tend to gather graffiti instead. Early experiments with electrifying it look good for resolving that issue, but long life batteries for powering the system in high crime areas take up the entire passenger compartment.;)
Wow, try catching up with the times. NO connection to any vaccination has been established. In fact any such link has been thoroughly disproven. The one "study" that established it has been debunked as extremely flawed and designed to produce results intended to promote the sales of a vaccine developed by the former doctor who did the "Study".
Vaccines are proven, any link at all to autism is what is unproven.
It's modular, drop the outdated/worn-out modules to burn up, attach new modules, build it out, expand it. having an arbitrary retirement date for a modular facility does not make sense. If they are serious about Mars they should be planning on adding on to the ISS, in order to use it as part of the process and route out of Earth Orbit to Mars. It can be a fueling station, build the Mars space craft of smaller modules sent up and parked at the ISS as they are assembled. Just abandoning it eight years from now seems very short sighted.
Still nothing like bread lines in the context it was presented. i.e. the prevalent bread lines of the Soviet Union, where everyone had to endure such lines just to obtain their basic staples, well everyone but the political elite. Poor people going to a food bank is not bread lines.
Bread lines are due to a general unavailability or scarceness of food, not due to a lack of funds by those needing to buy such food.
Sorry that highly questionable claim about children in "food insecure households" even if true does not equal bread lines. Which were daily lines in the soviet union to obtain basic food stuffs. Even when adequate supplies existed the process and procedures to obtain the food items were inefficient and time consuming.
and as to gulags Gulag: NOUN
1.a system of labor camps maintained in the former Soviet Union from 1930 to 1955 in which many people died. (gulag) a camp in the Gulag system, or any political labor camp.
A gulag is a forced labor prison camp for political dissidents, where prisoners are often worked to death. Please cite one location of such in the US. An actual labor camp for political dissidents, not a police detention/interrogation facility as suggested by AC (as illegal as that facility may be it's not a gulag).
Because to win such an award the author's would have to release the pre-edited dreck and the final copy to show how great a job the editor did. With movies the judges can look at the script and then look at the final product to see how effective the editors were in translating the script into the visual medium accurately and effectively.
It actually started much earlier. I usually point to Wizards of the Coast as a recognizable onset point. They mandated the 50/50 mix back in the late 80's in order to be published by them.
Colorado River. Ask LA if they want that water turned off, that is a very significant portion of their water supply.

Only real loss there is Samuel L Jackson. Now he'll have to travel here to be a bad-ass in Hollywood movies.

Nit pick: the Benghazi incident happened on Sept 11 2012, two months before the 2012 Election.
