Cisco switches can use ssh as of CatOS 6.1(look for images with k9 in the name). 12.x IOS also offers ssh and kerberized telnet. Also notice that Cisco is only sshv1 capable. This is pretty much standard throughout all vendors.(Foundry,Juniper,Cisco and I believe Nortel/Alteon)

"Primarily, Cisco wishes to keep its engineering talent working on core features within devices rather than developing and maintaining other features that provide infrastructure security through encryption."
On sshv1 vulnerability as demonstrated by Dug Song and response from Richard Silverman.

Hmmmmm.... obviously you have never used or known anyone used a laser spotter. Nor have you ever worked with military operatives. They are not supermen. The have to have intelligence on the target. Which we have little of. They have to be able to get to a location that they can see the target (heinous thing about line-of-sight weapons). Also, you forget the objective. We have committed to destroy the bastions of terrorism. For the safety of "all" citizens of the world. If you doubt that, please educate yourself as to the nature of terrorism. It is a stereotypical victim/predator relationship. The weaker the victim appears the bolder the predator. The Taliban has around 40,000 troops, any of which could end in the US taking pilot classes. One more point, the Taliban is a oppressive government, and we seek to depose it(despite political blithering to the opposite). By deposing it we give the Afghanis an opportunity to go back to a reasonable government system. The only way to depose an violent regime unfortunately is violence. A sad fact, but a fact nonetheless.
(As a tip, you might try reading some books on warfare and politics before commenting: Sun Tzu's "The Art of War", Carl Von Clausewitz "On War", and Tom Clancy's Non-fiction titles will get you started.)
I agree, and I add that the part that you may not have clearly stated is that the music companies are not out there to sell you what you want, they are there to sell you what they 'have'. A tactic that clearly displays this is the census method of ad development. 'Corporate Americans' already have a product about which you are asked questions that ascertain the best method to sell you the product in question. They want to know what you desire so that they can make the product sound as dreamy as possible. The funny thing about artistic endeavours is that art is subjective, so if 'Bust-A-Move Records'says that an artist is the 'greatest-thing' the american consumer buys it lock, stock, and barrel.
This is the perfect example of a capitolist system using the herd mentality against the uninformed. The problem is not capitolism it is ignorance. So I stress again, Inform yourself and (more importantly) inform your friends.
I hate to do this but I must point that you missed the point of the post... Eco-terrorism. If you want to know what kind of damage 10,000 mink released could do go to Australia and ask about the rabbit problem.
Property: The minks are the property of a citizen. Your wanted ads analogy is baseless as the ads express a political opinion and do not directly affect another persons property. Similar to boycotts...
Besides destroying someone's property based on their political view is terrorism. To argue otherwise is tantamount to saying that burning a cross on someone's front lawn isn't a hate crime...
Your argument loses merit in that it assumes one group of citizens may damage the right of another group of citizens to own property based on their political standing. If that's the case I would like to seize all devices you use to access the Internet in order to prevent the proliferation of your idiocy.
wow, I knew that the clustfudgecating was going to be bad enough considering the state of the Navy's Novell network. Then you roll in the USMC's Banyan VINES/NT transition. Imagine all that then hand it to EDS. Which (no offense to EDS employees) has messed up every large environment I have ever seen them manage (mainly Boeing and Hitachi Data Systems). Not that this is a bad thing I made ton of money cleaning up after their bureaucratically burdened personnel. Although the W2K choice makes me wonder what the SIPRNet will look like, cuz most of their boxen are HP-UX and Solaris.
I never thought this would happen... but it did the studios got a clue. After working for the studios I was beginning to lose hope.

Sir, I know why you chose to remain an anonymous coward. You have no knowledge of the world at large. We have extended the olive branch to every country that hass given us the opportunity. At times we put ourselves in danger doing this. Many of my friends were attacked while we were offering aid to starving people in Somalia. The truth of the matter is that the US gives aid were aid is deserved as demonstrated by the cooperation of the reigning government of the time. The message is simple and clear. We will help you, if you let us and abide by the international community's wishes. If you visit the horrors of war upon us or our friends prepare to have them visited upon you in return.
