Ventura will personaly wrestle down spammers who dont use the ADV.
What if i want to email a friend in ADVance about the ADVenture Im about to go on?
As a small ISP in minnesota, Im unhappy about this law getting passed. Mainly because I wont be able to trade my subscriber list with porno sites for free access. Other luxery items that I will no longer be able to get for free:
Penis enlargers health shake mixes cyber university diplomas crappy domain names like.tv and.poo
Say a car company was in the same position as microsoft: They are being sued for creating a monopoly on cup holders. Their cars come with cup holders installed and therefore 3rd party cupholder manufacturers are going out of buisness. Now the car company says they cant possibly remove the cupholders from the cars design because it they are essential for making the car run (a lie, but they've got enough money to back it up).
Now on this car there is a secret button that unlocks the cars doors and starts the engine. It can only be found by maticulously taking the car completly apart 200 times or by reading the blueprint.
If this car makes up 90% of all the cars owned in america, should they make this blueprint public over a small issue like a cupholder?
The process involved etching the finger print onto copper?
Finger prints seem to be at least more secure then credit cards. A semi professional with a CC writer can turn out a hundred fake cards with real numbers burned on them in less then 30 minutes.
Seems like it takes quite a while to create a fake finger tip and theres a lot more chance for error.
While I pry wouldnt soley rely on fingerprint scanners for something high security, for buying groceries, if this were offered in my area, Id sign up in a second.
There are two images, the first is of Mr. Twin's face at about 5:48 into the song, the second is a swirl at about 6:00. You pry only saw the swirl, reason being it has a lot of blackspace and its very easy to make out swirling kind of noise. The face however, sounds like just regular old garbled Apex Twin noise.
Speaking as an admin for a small Minnesota ISP, I really hope this bill passes. Mainly because if it doesnt, my helpdesk will have to deal with any number of customers calling us up (after learning that ISPs can sell, let alone collect their web browsing habits) and demand that we let them opt-out. Then Ill have to make some sort of stupid opt-out webpage that doesnt really do anything when I could be doing better things like looking at porn or sleeping.
As it stands we don't even monitor our users activities, beyond keeping connect and disconnect info. Selling this kind of info is just plain wrong, right now it is limited to maybe getting subscribed to a few spam lists, but what about when the telemarketers get in on this? Imagine getting a call: "Hello Mr. Smith, We've noticed that you've been visiting www.something.com recently and would like to inform you of our great deal."
Thats not the kind of phone call I would want inturrupting my porn veiwing/sleeping.
