    Not even a Star Wars trailer is enough to get me to watch another episode of The O.C.

    I watched half of one episode and I'm still scared to turn the TV on on a Tuesday night (in Australia). :D

    At least Battlestar Galactica is on now, although seeing as though we are watching series 1 in Australia right now, I have been able to download the entire first season, so no more channel 10 for me on Wednesday nights. :D

    I find it's not the keyboard layout that slows me down, but rather the speed of my fingers. I can type pretty fast, but until someone comes up with a keyboard layout that includes multiple letter keys (e.g. qu, the, to etc) then I can't see how I would be able to type any faster.

    Even number entry is very quick and easy. I just can't see how a new keyboard layout would change typing speed dramatically.

    I'm sure you were just as morally outraged when you found out your President (if you are American) and the administration lied to you about WMD in Iraq weren't you?

    I bet you're just about ready to start protesting the fact that no-one has been held accountable for those lies, aren't you?

    By the way, the document may have been faked, but the supposed author of the document was interviewed on CBS and admitted that she did not write the document (choice of wording in the fake didn't match her style) but that she had written an almost exact document with the exact content around the time the fake was supposed to have been produced. But of course, with all the coverage of the fact that a fake document had been used to accuse the President of going AWOL, the fact that he really did go AWOL didn't really get much airplay afterwards.

    Face facts. The current US President is a liar, a deserter, and believes the world is only 6000 years old. And half the US population looks up to him. It's kind of sad really if it wasn't so scary.

    Kuwan you are a complete idiot. What Clinton said is the same as what's being said now. With no changes to SS, some time in the next 40 odd years it will only be able to pay out 75% of benifits. That doesn't seem like a crisis to me.

    He is saying there will be issues in the future that we need to start thinking about now. There will be a demographic crisis, but not a fiscal one, providing steps are taken to address the issues.

    No wonder the US is in such a bad way at the moment. Most US citizens can't see it, but the rest of the world is watching the last gasps of a dieing country. Only been around 200 years or so and already the US is breaking down from the inside and turning into a rogue nation.

    It's not so much about lawsuits. The grain offered was engineered so that the seed harvested from the GM plants grown from the GM grain would never grow. Thus forcing the country to keep relying on aid for ever more instead of using traditional grain and saving part of the harvest each year for re-planting.

    The question has to be asked, why was the US giving Monsanto GM grain as food aid in the first place instead of a cheaper non GM alternative?

    Seriously. Why would any farmers choose to buy GM seed from Monsanto? They should all know how Monsanto do business and the potential consequences of their decision to purchase Monsanto GM seed.

    Once you buy their seed, it's very difficult to go back to non GM seed. Mostly just because Monsanto will hound you until they find just one unlicensed grain of their GM product on your land and sue you into oblivion.

    Even 3rd world countries are aware of the potential problems. Some have even gone so far as to refuse US food aid because it was Monsanto GM grain that was being offered. If leaders of 3rd world countries can see the potential problems, why can't western farmers?

    These guys weren't randomly standing in line telling lawyer jokes. They purposely and continually go to courts and heckle the lawyers.

    So What? What's wrong with that? I am constantly amazed at the number of restrictions on citizens in the "Land of the Free".

    You need a permit to assemble in relatively small groups, can be arrested for telling a joke, arrested for handing out how-to-vote cards.

    So what if you have a constitution. If you can be arrested for disturbing the peace just for telling a joke then your constitution is useless and America is in serious trouble.

    But I guess as long as you still have the right to bear arms then everything's ok, right?

    Its a no-win situation with people like you.

    Well, perhaps if the US Government had listened to people like me in the first place they wouldn't have gotten themselves into this mess.

    Perhaps if they had spent more time searching for WMD and listening to what the inspectors had to say ("we need more time") they would have concluded that Sadam was no threat to the US and the invasion wasn't necessary.

    Perhaps if the US government didn't lie to the US citizens about Sadam's links to the September 11 attack this war would never have happened.

    The US government was warned about what would happen in Iraq after the invasion. They chose to ignore the bad predictions (long drawn out war with many civillian casualities), but whole-heartedly accept the rosy predictions (they will welcome us in the streets with flowers).

    And you are right. This is a no-win situation. Any situation that relies on the deaths of other human beings for an outcome is a no-win situation in my book.

    Do you have evidence of this? Were there independent polls conducted across the country? Or is this just what your CO or President told you? Excuse me for not believing everything the US administration claims.

    One could equally claim that over 50 million people in the US alone (not to mention the rest of the world) are tired of the rule of George Bush and his religious minority. Does that justify another nation invading the US? Wouldn't you resist the occupiers as the Iraqi's are doing?

    Finally, can you tell me what the 100,000 civillians killed in this war think about the liberation of Iraq? Are they better off now that Sadam is gone?

    prisoner-of-enigma, I don't want to denigrate you in any way. You have put more on the line for your country than I think I will ever have the guts to. However I still believe this to be an illegal war and I believe your Government lied to you.

    I think the US definition of a terrorist is someone who puts their interests, or the interests of their family or country before those of the US.

    I define a terrorist as someone who is willing to use terror against civilians as a means to further their cause. By this definition, the US administration is a terrorist organisation. Not only that, I believe that the US can now be classed as a religiously fanatic state sponsor of terrorism.

    Just ask yourselves, who is responsible for spreading fear throughout the US and the world? What colour alert level is the US on this week?

    Because (in this all too possible future reality) the conservative US Government has banned all contraceptives. Don't think it will happen? That's what they're pushing for. The current administration only provide funds to abstinance only organisations. Any international organisation that promotes contraceptive devices has lost all funding from the US. Including in AIDS ravished Africa.

    You are a shining example of everything that's wrong with American society today. I pity your children and the sacrifices they will need to make just to survive in the future. How can you deny your children the freedoms that made America strong in the first place?

    I have been reading today that there are Pharmacists in the US that refuse to prescribe the contraceptive pill to women. For any reason, including to help prevent ovarian cancer. How can Americans treat their women this way? How would you feel if your daughter fell pregnant at 17, because she couldn't get the contraceptive pill, is forced to have the baby, because abortions were illegal, is forced to drop out of school and stay at home to raise the child, because all the orphanages are closed due to lack of public funding and an oversupply of unwanted children up for adoption?

    But I guess that would never happen to you or your family, that only happens to other people, right?

    The sooner the American people recognise that George W Bush has done more in the last few years to promote anti-American sentiment and jeopardise world security, the sooner they can vote him out and the World will be a better place.

    I don't hate America, I don't hate Americans. I love America and her people like brothers and sisters. I just think they're being bloody stupid and need a good kick in the teeth to make them see sense. Aren't family and good friends supposed to tell you when you make BIG ASS MISTAKES?!?!?

    I have had a P800 for over 2 weeks now and I must say I have had no issues with the size, weight, strength etc. It's just great. I have more problems with smaller phones than I do with the P800 (fat fingers can't stick to just one button at a time), but the stylus solves that for me. I have removed the number-pad and just use the touch screen. Voice dialling and voice answering mean that I don't need to unlock the phone most of the time. My P800 usually just lives in my pocket. The only time I do unlock it is to add caleldar items, tasks, notes etc. I don't see how it could be better if it was smaller. You still need to have a minimum screen size + something to hold on to. I think it's the perfect size. I wouldn't want it any smaller, that's for sure. Any smaller and you would need a microscope just to read the text. Anyway, each to their own I suppose. I would recommend the phone to anyone. And hey, I've even started learning Java just to be able to write my own apps for it. Enjoy :)
