I've always wondered how one computes how long it would take to crack a key? For example, how long would it take an top of the line Athlon to crack that 2048 bit key?
If you're using brute force to crack the key all you have to do is compute the time used to crack a similar 2047 bit key and double that.
I use uControl for my track pad scrolling needs, and it works like a charm, just with a nice gui-ed preference pane, and it's very stable.
Oh, it will also allow you to remap your keyboard, among other features.
Why, just send them some output from the abuse-a-tron
