Any company that can't work around this limitation is just reaping what it sows when it hires bottom of the barrel admins and techs. This is simple to mitigate for almost no cost if you have a competent admin.
Yeah, there are a dozen ways to securely implement this policy, even if it is stupid. I don't see home wifi being a problem for any well run network. There are probably dozen ways to detect and remove them, and just as many ways to mitigate them so they aren't a problem in the first place.

Time Warner does seem to lean Democratic, but those donations are lifetime and I don't see any for Clinton in the recent election cycles.
That link lacks the "millions" you, it seems far less the the above stated $900 million. I guess there is technically "millions", $2 milion of you total the 3 banks. You'll note that this website you use as a reference indicates it doesn't track Koch PACS because that money is not hidden, https://www.opensecrets.org/or....
Your projecting the compromises made today onto a system that would not need these compromises. If corporations could not abuse their position, non-profit entities would not be necessary to amplify voices. If the rich treated workers fair in the 1900's, there would have been no need for unions.
The cause of a sick system is people who want to have a sick system, a system based on jealousy, envy For a minute I thought you were going to disappear in a puff of logic. I agree with the first part of your statement, but you stopped too soon listing the sick things people want in the system, then demonstrated your own sick bias. Pride, greed, and prejudice against envy, jealousy, and sloth (perceived). With real need on one side and a sick desire to hoard on the other...
So, you have a family member that is a terrible person, join the club.
You can't fit every disability drawing person in the mold she created. You should hate her, not the system, or the other people using the system correctly.
Time lived is a blessing, don't wast it worrying about her, just do the things that make you feel good about yourself and make the world a little better. Sure, you could start by strangling your sister, but society frowns on that....

I saw through that guys schtick on my first read, but I've never fully analyzed why it made me uncomfortable. If you've read it more then once and not seen through it, I am saddened.

Yeah, my wife was in a minor accident and USAA covered the car with no problem, but they would not pay to replace car seats. In hindsight, I should have lawyered up.
Unfortunately, you can't turn this off permanently. I get prompted for this every time I enable the GPS and I have to disallow it. There is a convenient, "don't ask me again" button under the "allow" and "disallow" buttons, but if you check that it highlights "allow". You can't permanently "disallow". Is this specific to Samsung and motorola? I've had this issue with both phones on Verizon and ATT.
I've been considering if it's lawsuit worthy, anyone know who I could talk to about that? Think the EFF would be interested in this faux opt-in/opt-out setting.
Yeah, a phone in a foil pouch will up it's transmit strength while it searches for a signal. Better to pop the battery and then maybe do the foil pouch too (if you have psychological problems that are helped by that).
I regularly use my phone for navigation, it used to speed up my home commute considerably, but now I drive from a better location. Google appears to have no location data for me. I turn off all the extra location services and only enable the GPS. I have been thinking of pursuing a class action lawsuit over this. Every time I enable the GPS I am prompted to allow google location services. I always say no, but if I try to check "don't ask again", it defaults to yes. They are claiming to allow opt-in, but forcing you to opt-out every time you use it and only allowing you to permanently opt-in, you can't permanently opt-out.

Does that product run on Linux and BSD?

Here's a good estimate of the Koch PAC spending, http://www.republicreport.org/...
Apparently old Murray never had his water or power turned off. He also, probably, never needed emergency medical care.

you might have gotten some bites until the 3k / week claim . That must be like a 200 million dollar policy.
