Sure that would be great in the long run. But the benefit for government and really large buisnesses have by using Solaris is that if a big box goes down or is really screwed up, and none of they're people can fix it, they can call SUN and get someone on plane in seconds to go fix it. Companys and esspecially the government can have little or NO downtime.
If they stuck a bunch on money into open source it would make a great product but having highly skilled reps on hand when ever you need it is something they can't live without. This is also the reason they go with Cisco, Cisco and SUN have ALOT of certs and alot of people on hand that have sick skills the companys can't afford to keep on hand locally. It's the same for military, money isn't the issue. It's stability.

This is only an option in IE, you can turn it off easily. I'm running os 10.1 right now and I emmediatly turned that off. As default it opens them but it did this in the old versions of IE for mac too so it's not reallly that bigga deal.
Yeah it's a good mailing list manage. TOO BAD ITS FOR QMAIL. I admin Qmail boxes all day, and qmail is horrible, horrible, horrible. Exim is the only mail server I would use by choice these days.
I like the idea of being able to surf porn without fjear of locking up the shitty windows machine they make me use at work to connect to the exchange server. But where will the line be drawn when this hits congress. And if a bill is passed this will enforce the idea that they can control or mandate something they really know nothing about. Frankly I would rather keep the government out of it and have pop-up windows that screw me over. This seems like something small and good they can do but in the long run I think it'll hurt us.
I can see the use of Network Maps, ISP's connection maps to the Internet, maybe a map of the Root Name Servers and what ISP's connect to which, but for god sakes a map of the internet. It sounds like something they would talk about on an AOL chat room while being no where NEAR the internet.

This is an example of how you WRONG!
"Yesterday, I laughed harder than I ever have before while shooting a flick; so loud, in fact, did I laugh, that I almost blew a take. It's Will Ferrell, man. God, he's just too funny. And on top of that, he's a sweetheart and a half. He reminds me of Jason Lee."

Where did you see an interview where Kevin Smith dissed Will Ferrell. I am a GIGANTIC Kevin Smith fanatic and everything I've seen on the production and such he had nothing but good things to say. I would really like a url to an interview where Kevin dissed Will Ferrell.
HAHA you are the exact person they made fun of in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
You use the internet only to bitch about movies and share pornography.
Ok Will Farrell is one of the funneist men ever. Just watch Saturday Night Live. And if you don't Like SNL then you obviously have no idea what is funny what so ever.
You need to go to a school where you can learn what funny is.

This was a great movie to get everyone to stop thinking about all this WTC stuff. It's hilarious(especially if you drink a few beers in the the movie theatre).
Althought taking out the WTC was a little weird they're doing it with spiderman and alot of other flics so we're gonna have to get over it. But i suggest everyone go see it. And even if your one of those people who wont spend money on a movie unless its a sure thing, Come on you know you went and paid 8 bucks to see Anti-trust and Swordfish, you can always guarantee it will be better than that.
