limit holdem sucks anyway. Play no limit like a real man and you don't gotta worry about silly bots. People aren't smart enough to make good no limit bots yet:)
I play low limits on pokerstars quite frequently and although it's possible people are cheating there, I'd have to say it doesn't matter. Most of the people at limits normal people would play really don't have a clue what they're doing and it's easy to win if you play right. That said, I actually did spot some cheaters. I reported them and the $1000 between them in their accounts were split up among the 50 people they played the most. When one of them got AA or KK, they would raise and reraise to build the pot. Higher limits there would be much more to gain by cheating, but most of those players play with each other day in and day out and would probably spot it. If you get caught, you lose your whole bankroll and the small advantage you gain from knowing which few extra cards have already been played probably isn't worth it.
If this thing is 17 digits, that leaves 10^17 possible VIN numbers. How many cars are being made?!?
100,000,000,000,000,000 Vin numbers.
I think they have adminstration issues in how they distribute these numbers, not a lack of them.
I've been playing for about a month...

And I'm up over $1500. I'm really getting addicted to it, but it's great!
The GMAT, the business graduate school admissions test, already grades the essays automatically. I think they're going to soon do the same with the GRE. Crazy shit.
I'm wondering how a system like this teaches kids responsibility? My parents, even from a very early age, left schoolwork up to me so long as my report card was good. They would be there to help me if I asked, but I wouldn't get repeatedly bothered about whether or not my homework was done. Perhaps if such things are left to the child, they will appreciate it more and work harder at it. I'm graduating with a BS in a month and then heading off to the University of Michigan for a PhD, so it's worked for me. I think much of what's lacking in the current system is reponsibility, kids just don't seem to care about school.
What is that weird object flying above that top-secret military base in the middle of the desert?!? It must be from outer-space, it couldn't possibly be man made! Jackass.
I've noticed quite a few women in Computer Science here. However, there are very few in engineering majors. I think CS tends to be one of the most women-friendly technology fields.
Transdermal Nutrient Delivery System (TDNDS)
What It Is:
During short periods of high intensity conflict, soldiers may not have access to a real meal or the time to eat it. The Transdermal Nutrient Delivery System (TDNDS) is a nutrition patch that will transmit vitamins and other micronutrients or nutraceuticals to the warfighters and sustain their physical and mental performance.
Why It's Needed:
Future warfighters may spend substantial amounts of time encapsulated in protective garments or in vehicles with limited access to normal meals. Replenishment of some of the most bioactive nutrients found in foods is needed, using a method that's controllable and minimally invasive.
How It Works:
A smart delivery system will conceivably expand on similar technology used in the nicotine patch; however, instead of transmitting nicotine, the TDNDS will serve as a reservoir of micronutrients and nutraceuticals. Advances in nutritional sciences, miniaturized physiological monitors and molecular delivery will be exploited. One potential means of transmitting nutrients would work like this: Sensors would first take readings on a warfighter's metabolism, then send information about the soldier's nutritional needs to a microchip processor. This processor might activate a microelectrical mechanical system that transmits the micronutrients -- either through skin pores or pumped directly into blood capillaries.
Benefits:
Improved Performance...Nutraceuticals transmitted by the TDNDS could reduce combat-related stress, such as muscle fatigue and the physical problems that accompany prolonged exposure to cold weather and high altitudes and conceivably signal a soldier's brain that he still has nutrient reserves to draw upon.
Civilian Applications...This delivery system could meet the nutritional needs of workers in stressful, hazardous work environments -- such as miners, oil riggers, firefighters, chemical production workers, police bomb squad members and astronauts involved in space walks.
a PhD. My professors work, in a long week, 3 hours a day, 3 days a week. Their pay is pretty decent too. You can sit around calling your students morons and basically do things to piss off all of your students for a nice laugh. It sure sounds fun.
These guys were stealing money from US companies. The FBI wouldn't give a shit if they were ripping off Russian companies in Russia. When they rip off OUR companies and Russia doesn't care to stop them, it is most certainly the FBI's responsability to do something.
Hack into their website.

Only in a much less technical way, stupid gas pedal was stuck to the floor. Had to kick it a few times to get it unstuck...sort of scary at the time.
next they'll be telling you cigarettes cause cancer. damn teenagers and their music.

sprinkle some magic pixie dust on them too.

Given enough time, my old 486 could do it too.

Schools and Libraries filter out anything that isnt in a kids.us domain?

HP and Dell did the same thing
