Now that we've completed the "wiring of our schools", when are the people in government going to begin to take responsibility for the content that is being driven through those wires and into our schools?
While there are some organizations that are interested in providing educationally enriching content, most of what students spend their online time doing is chasing after music or other forms of entertainment.
Most of the corporate sponsors are aware of this new opportunity to get at young buyers, but apparently the adults who are behind this technological progress in schools have been unable to foresee, or mitigate, these unfortunate social consequences.
Is anyone in government aware of the need for educators to be fully funded and directed to compete with corporations for the attention of our youth through quality digital content?
