Dear Diary,
I connected my SG to my old Win 2000 box and played a live sumulcast through my website. Unfortunately I was hit by the Nimda virus and my guitar will only play "In-a-gadda-da-vida"
I had the same thing-- I even dropped out I got in such a funk over the stuff they taught us in CS-- There was no opportunity for applying the knowledge.
Guess what? It gets better. You'll graduate, get a job and the real world solution set will be so different you'll take it as a challenge and the fun comes back PLUS you'll have the analytical skills to find the minute bugs and evaluate things in a large scale.
This is it, most of the new stuff I've heard is either Bubblegum Pop or Poser Trash, there is nothing out there that really makes me want to go out and buy a CD anyway.
MP3s are just a scapegoat.
Culture has been in the dumps since we invented disco. Only the changing music formats has masked this for so long!
This is nothing new on Microsoft's part, the question is, is the next DVD player you buy going to have the WMF in it?

Congratulations, you seem to be the first beginning-of-thread poster to "get it".
